What is The India Craft Project?
The India Craft Project is a for-profit social enterprise, dedicated to celebrating and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Indian handicrafts. We offer a range of handcrafted products made by skilled artisans from across India, including in-stock items, made-to-order pieces, and custom-designed bulk gifts. Our mission is to support and add value to traditional craftsmanship for our customers.
Where are your products made?
Our products are made by traditional artisans located in various regions of India, across craft practices. Each product reflects the unique cultural and artistic traditions of its place of origin, ensuring that every piece you purchase is truly one-of-a-kind.
How can I collaborate with The India Craft Project?
We are always looking to collaborate with talented artisans, designers, brands, wedding or event planners. What types of products do you have in stock?
We offer a diverse range of products.
From in-stock products like our zardozi and brass range, including home decor items, gift boxes and more. Each product is handcrafted by our artisans and ready for immediate purchase.
We also have made-on-order products that has handpainted. Across Bengal Pattachitra Products, Madhubani art, Gond art, Mata Ni Pachedi Sarees and more. Each product is handmade by our artisans and dispatched directly to you.
We also design folk art invitations (animated and static) and custom design bulk gifting for weddings and events, with atleast 1-2 months of time.
What are your custom designed, bulk gifting services like?
Our custom-designed bulk gifting service offers personalized, handcrafted gifts for corporate events, weddings, and other special occasions. We work with you to create unique items that reflect your brand or event theme, ensuring a memorable experience for your recipients.

When is an order dispatched?
Orders in stock are dispatched within 2-3 days of orders placed.
Orders that are hand painted on order (mentioned in the product description) are dispatched within 8-12 days of orders placed.
On dispatch, they typically take 3-6 days to reach your address as per pin code. Three delivery attempts are made by the courier person.
What are your shipping options and delivery times?
Orders for in stock products are couriered within 3 business days.
Made on order products take 7-10 days to dispatch by the artisan to you. This is not the case with bigger paintings, they may take longer and will be mentioned on the product details.
Standard shipping typically takes 5-7 business days, while expedited shipping takes 2-3 business days (on request only). Delivery times may vary based on your location and the availability of the product.
What is your return and exchange policy?
We're happy to accept returns of unused items in their original condition (undamaged, unused) within 7 days of delivery for store credit.
We do not offer refunds on orders due to the time and labor that goes into each product. Refunds are only processed based on fulfilment errors, such as incorrectly shipped or missing items.
AT HOME COLLECTION
You can request an at-home pick-up for your returns and exchanges by writing to theindiacraftproject@gmail.com or WhatsApping us on +91-7042547430 from Monday to Saturday, between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (IST). We’ll look into the issue and get back to you within 24 working hours. The amount deducted from your final credit note amount will be Rs 200 for all orders.
Any additional shipping charges or gift wrap packaging, if paid, will be deducted from your credit note amount.
Exceptions: Paintings, Hand Painted Products, Fragrances, Tea Lights, Lights
Any complaint that is reported after 15 days of delivery will not be accepted.
Please note that sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges
